Job Function
• Strategy formulation & implementation for Mc Donalds UAE and Qatar markets from the Jebel Ali facility to guarantee assured supply and smooth Supply Chain based on Critical Path Method (CPM) and Shortest Route Method (SRM)

• Profit and Loss responsibility for Qatar SBU. Conducting Cost-Benefit Analysis for services availed and assessing risk involved in doing business. Managing / reviewing and renewing contracts awarded.

• Drive the consensus forecasting process to achieve minimum 24 month SKU level forecast in accordance with agreed timetable. Coordinate statistical and judgmental forecast components in Future Value with marketing, customer service and sales.

• Plan and raise purchase orders (JIT method) with key McDonald's suppliers globally. Manage supply of different categories of Food (Frozen / Chilled / Dry), Non-Food (Paper / Plastic / Chemical / Operating) products Assume responsibility for specific projects within and between markets.

• Manage all Logistical support for new product implementation, safety stock levels and +- scenario plans, SKU maintenance, promo activities and incentive programs with sales, marketing and finance. Verification and validation of monthly published forecasts.

• Calculate and validate the levels of safety stock required in accordance with agreed inventory policies, customer service requirements, latest supply chain performance parameters and lead times. Overlook day to day supply issues.

• Conduct monthly review for obsolete stock in order to ensure fresh stock, optimize inventory levels, and minimize destruction's.

Highlights :
• Reduced the overall Supply Chain Cost by 4%, resulting in operational efficiency and cost savings of an estimated AED 1.5 million per annum.

• Set and achieved targets for minimum stock holdings enabling to bring down the cost of doing business by 2.3%.

1. Strategy formulation & implementation for Landmark Group's Imports & Exports from the Jebel Ali facility to guarantee standard running conditions and process productivity in accordance to daily / monthly operational plans and schedule. Ensure the effective implementation of plans, policies and procedures through leadership of a specialist Logistics Department team.

2. Manage annual allocated budget, managing expenditure up to set limits, and optimizing and reducing costs where possible and reporting variances versus budget, in order to ensure effective cost management.

3. Evaluate and cost/quality optimize the logistics network on an ongoing basis in order to ensure best value logistics services are provided to the business.

4. Serve as the primary contact with suppliers and the Advisory Boards in establishing agreements, including: strategic enterprise wide negotiation of pricing and services which leverage Landmark Group purchasing power, monitoring contract compliance, capturing benefits associated with those agreements, tracking/resolving issues, and ensuring continuous improvement.

5. Liaise regularly with senior business management in order to understand ongoing business activities and developments. Attend and contribute to business planning and decision making meetings in order to communicate effectively within the organization and provide Logistics input and support to overall business decision making.

6. Prepare management information reports in order to ensure that Senior Business Managers have the relevant information needed to support strategic decision-making.

Highlights :
• Introduced parallel port operations from other UAE location, resulting in operational efficiency and cost savings over AED 20 million per annum.
• Developed a loss and waste analysis program, affected 12% savings.
