• Reporting to the second engineer on operational status of machineries, in terms of fuel consumption,
oil pressure, and vibrations, resulting
in a smooth and safe operation of the vessel.
• Responsible for the completion of maintenance and services for engine room and deck machineries.
• Established proper communication with ratings for smooth flow of jobs assigned to be carried
effectively in an acceptable time range by
conducting daily meetings.
• Responsible for the proper implementation of protective and preventive maintenance reference to
planned maintenance system by
ensuring the equipment operating within their optimal condition.
• Responsible for carrying proper supervision on all running machineries as main diesel engine,
auxiliary diesel operated generators, pumps,
valves, heaters, and propulsion system.
• Responsible for the proper and effective transfer of marine diesel oil while carrying out the sounding
and recording prior and after transfer
and parallel operations of diesel driven generators.
• Assisting in troubleshooting of any mechanical or electrical failure and reporting to senior engineer.
• Carrying out the preventive and protective maintenance as advised by senior engineer and conducting
proper routine check on all safety
devices and equipment.
Project name: KNPC-CFP-MAB2 New Technical office and Laboratory building.
Project location: Mina Abdullah Refinery, Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
Job role included but not limited to:
o Review design, project drawings, and bill of quantity/material to maintain necessary coordination with other disciplines for smooth flow of project throughout Construction phases.
o Trailing the construction and installation progress of HVAC - Chilled water system, Fire Water sprinkler systems, and plumbing.
o Responsible for commissioning of Technical building’s
a) HVAC system; SAT, TAB, SPT, and WPT
b) fire water sprinkler system, and gas suppression system.
o Assisting QC to follow the approved ITP using Non-Destructive testing methods for piping as Hydro static testing, Hardness test, Holiday Test, and Radiography. In addition to Duct system Light/Smoke test.
o Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of HVAC using BMS system, and integration with fire alarm and smoke management system.
o Responsible to submit the as built drawing of HVAC, Fire Water and Plumbing.
o Responsible to organize and deal with subcontractors’ work and payments. In addition to provide Technical guide.
o Ensuring Health and Safety Policies are being followed strictly.
o Daily reporting to MEP construction Manager.
o Attended KNPC Permit to work awareness, Fire watch, and SEEP (Safe Emergency evacuation plan) under the employee number AGI-37283.
Job role included but not limited to:
o Scheduling and carrying out the protective and preventive maintenance for Plastic Injection Machines and molds.
o Design and Improvement of a self-developed machines that serve and ease the production time for specific plastic products.
o Installation of machines automation system using fluid power system (Hydraulic and Pneumatic)
o Design and Improvement of Various plastic product and their evaluation.
Trained on CAT generators commissioning, load testing, and maintenance.
Studied Mechanical power engineering including Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, fluid power system design, installation and maintenance. In addition to Automatic control system, Steam and Gas Power plant operation, Machine Design, simulation, and optimization.
