- The server takes customer orders for drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert items. A server delivers all requested items to the table and ensures restaurant patrons are comfortable and taken care of throughout the meal. The server also delivers the check at the close of the meal and may take the customers payment in the form of cash or credit card
- Providing excellent customer service, greeting patrons once they are seated, answering questions from the patrons about food and beverages, upselling additional food and beverage products to patrons
