The major role is to oversee the complex technical and commercial issues including technical and administrative support necessary to ensure the efficient delivery of NSF services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and service a developed customer base.
• Manage regional Sales and Marketing activities.
• Assist in creating and developing an industry knowledge base.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements.
• Represent the company at relevant trade exhibitions.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance to customers and prospects
• Collaborate with Field Services (auditing), EMEA BDM Director to ensure timely & cost-effective testing & certification projects
• Establish and maintain effective communication with program representatives and account managers.
The major role was to managing the commercial & technical relationships in UAE to deliver the
stretched sales & profitability targets. I was handling the current direct customers in UAE while
identifying the potential and the value chain in the dairy & beverage hygiene sector also I had the
responsibilities to study, develop & establish solid customer base in water treatment - particularly
cooling tower hygiene chemicals.
The major role was to manage the commercial & technical relationships in MENA region to deliver the stretched sales & profitability targets. I was handling the existing direct customers & distribution network in the assigned area while identifying the potential and the value chain in the Oil Service Companies and the National Oil Companies. As well as establishing and develop solid customer base in water treatment field particularly in the desalination and cooling towers applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with customer base.
• Develop market and customers in the sales territory.
• Prepare, update, and maintain account plans for targeted accounts.
• Initiating the communicating activities in the region to increase the visibility and to transfer the business message to the potential & existing customer base.
• Handling technical issues to some extent and to create a value on the product and to capture technical issues in the territory.
• Was responsible for transactional activities at customers including price and volume that maximizes top line growth.
• Understanding the value chain in the new customer base & new markets to contribute challenging growth plans for the region.
• Facilitates opportunity discussions and supports technical team facing customers.
• Feeds consumption & technology trends at customer / markets to the Commercial Management & Marketing.
• Collect and communicate competitive intelligence assessments.
I had a dual role where I was working as a technical sales and projects engineer whereas in the sales role the major role was to provide pre- and post-sales technical advice, offers & support about products and solution of water treatment plant systems in sectors, sewage and domestic water, also to help potential customers understand, compare, and contrast the solutions that are available to seal the deal.
As a result of my achievement I got awarded with certificate of appreciation as one of the best employees for the year of 2012.
And as a projects engineer I performed work that crosses the boundaries between engineering and project management, leading the technical workers who contribute to the installation of any system related to water treatment plants such as STP & RO and touch bases on installing chemical dosing and monitoring systems.
