Main Activities:
▪ In charge of industrial investment development in the city and all related
business activities.
▪ Develop department’s annual business plan in order to meet the strategic
objectives of the organization.
▪ Manage agreement contracts portfolio with annual revenue of more than
MMSAR 150.
▪ Prepare annual budget for the department.
▪ Review and priority industrial development sectors and validate alignment
with national strategies.
▪ Supervise the development of high-level business cases.
▪ Develop marketing strategy for the development of industrial opportunities
in the city to attract new industrial projects with annual KPIs of 8 billion SAR in capital investment and more than 10 targeted industries in downstream and speciality chemicals industries in order to increase city contribution to national GDP.
▪ Study global markets in petrochemicals and downstream industries and deliver briefings to the management.
▪ Issue a comprehensive report on the development of industrial products and projects on regular basis.
▪ Prepare plans and solutions in order to meet overall industrial development strategy including the risk management
Main Activities:
▪ Manage and supervise the development of industrial investment in the city
by excellent interaction with tenants and investors; and develop the
framework required for the successful attraction of business.
▪ Supervise the process of revision and approval of the industrial investment
applications including review of feasibility studies.
▪ Prepare department’s annual business plan, balanced scorecard, KPIs.
▪ Develop, integrate, and valuate new industrial sectors such as midstream,
downstream and value parks in the city to increase the city contribution to
the national GDP.
▪ Provide technical consultation for stakeholders to develop industrial projects
and their value chains.
▪ Participate in development of high-level industrial business cases.
▪ Validate identified industrial opportunities with local and international
investors.
▪ Supervise the development of MOUs, NDAs, and investment agreements.
▪ Review and advise on plans to develop industrial segments.
Main Activities:
▪ Represents RC functions for industry coordination as the single point of contact for primary and secondary industries.
▪ Represents RC functions as the single point of contact with third parties, utilities and outside agencies.
▪ Review and approve the petrochemical, chemical and downstream industrial investment applications and feasibility studies including the validation of business models and financial models.
▪ The allocation of industrial sites in coordination with the competent authorities.
▪ Reviews and participates in meetings and discussions for future development of primary and secondary industries infrastructure and land use.
▪ Participates in review of front end engineering designs of the industry park.
▪ Preparation of industrial investment agreements, MOUs and land leases for industrial projects.
▪ Follow-up of industrial projects in the design, construction and operation phase, contributing to overcoming the difficulties encountered.
▪ Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to the stakeholders to develop industrial segments in the city.
