Project / Operational Financing arrangements and ensuring effective utilization;
Dealing with financial institutions / lenders’ & project consultants;
Periodic presentations to lenders on financial matters and compliance of agreed financial discipline;
Financial Planning, Modeling, Projections, Feasibility studies and Project cost controls;
Foreign Exchange (FOREX) negotiations with treasuries for imports (including establishing letter of credits) and managing affiliated risks;
Preparation of Annual Business Plans, Monthly Forecasts, Controlling, Variance analyses and Reporting
Review and analyses of monthly, quarterly, annual management and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS;
Active support to Project Director / Director Operations;
Development, Implementation and to ensure application of approved financial, accounting, product costing policies, procedures and techniques;
Monitor and review of project capitalization transactions post COD;
Implementation of Oracle Financials (ERP) as an ERP Coordinator;
Active participation / member of contracts planning, negotiations and settlement team and to ensure adherence of contractual terms and with applicable laws; and
Liaison with group companies, internal and external auditors, legal and tax advisors, Oracle implementers and regulatory authorities.
Arrangement of cost efficient borrowing solutions for working capital, project expansions and effective / optimum utilization of financial resources;
Foreign Exchange (FOREX) negotiations with treasuries for imports and exports documents and managing affiliated risks;
Reviewing and assessing on continuous basis the Investment Markets and products;
Development of quality financial and management information system;
Strategic Financial Planning, Analysis & Problem Solving;
Reporting monthly/ quarterly/annual financial statements and appraise results of individual Companies/Group with specific recommendations to Board of Directors though CEO to improve financial health and coordination with external auditors;
Budgeting, Project Planning & Cost Control, variance analysis, ratios analysis, etc.
Compliance with the statutory and mandatory local legal reporting requirements;
Taxation matters including statements filing and dealing with tax and regulatory authorities;
Financial Planning. Modeling, Projections and Feasibility studies;
Development/implementation of internal controls systems, procedures and manuals;
Analysis and implementation of Oracle Financials (ERP); and
Coordination and liaison with various regulatory and government authorities, creditors and business partners.
Dealing with banks for export remittances and documents negotiations;
Funds management;
Monitoring and reporting daily operational matters;
Controlling the activities of Materials Accounting Section;
Participation in the development of Inventory Control system;
Development of good quality and timely Management Information System (MIS)
Developed and implemented reporting system using job order costing;
Variance analysis of standard and job order costing results;
Preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors;
Insurance coverage of company’s all assets; and
Supervised Finance, Accounts and Costing departments.
