• Involving on pre contract stage activities such as identifying project risks, advising on pricing new tenders, attending tender adjudication meetings & attending site visits along with the estimation team.
• Managing and monitoring of two assistant quantity surveyors and procurement officer towards adhering to all the required commercial guidelines.
• Managing the key commercial documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy.
• Prepare overall budgets for awarded projects.
• Managing the procurement of trade contractors.
• Preparation of variations and claims to Client/Main contractor.
• Performing value engineering and cost controlling.
• Prepare monthly cash flows, cost reports, and subcontractor payment certification.
• Review Subcontractors variations and claims.
• Attending weekly progress meetings along with the project managers and provide commercial updates.
• Attending pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Preparation of preliminary estimates.
• Liaise with QSs on quantity verification for the client provided BOQs as per the standard method of measurement.
• Performing Pre and Post contracts cost control.
• Valuing variations and claims.
• Reviewing on claims and variations and make the final recommendation to the management.
• Verifying subcontractor’s insurances, bonds and guarantees.
• Advising on the selection of procurement and tender strategies.
• Participate in reviews of project risks and opportunities to minimize cost through Value Engineering.
• Managing the key commercial documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy.
• Managing the procurement of the project in line with the procurement schedule and budget.
• Send Notifications to consultants prior submitting Variations or claims.
• Preparation of variations and cost claims with contemporary records.

• Advising on Procurement strategy.
• Performing value engineering and cost control.
• Attend Commercial meetings with Clients and Contractors.
