Import Customs Clearance Specialist - Air & Sea freight

Execution:
• Carry out all the operational tasks from receipt of documents from the customer to deliver cargo.
• Receives file for local handling and clearance from Air or Sea freight import operators or customers directly.
• Completion data entry at SALOG.
• Checking of shipping documents.
• Follow up and notice of arrival to clients .
• Ensure the delivery order collection.
• Sending shipping documents to customs clearance brokers.
• Coordinates with customs brokers and trucking company.
• Transfer of Port dues and inspection charges to customs brokers.
• Customs duty preparation.
• Ensure delivery instruction and arrange pick up of cargo from port to door.
• Check special handling requirements.

Control:
• Attend to customer complaints
• Preventive and corrective actions

Invoicing & Closing:
• Check correctness of invoices from supplier and make sure to matching with agreement rate.
• Invoice customer on time and make sure to close file at system with booked supplier invoice.
