- Establish the new department (Determine the scope of work, the structure plan, and job description for employees, etc.).
- Interview and hire the department staff and recruit the executive personnel in the Hotels operators.
- Manage the agreements signed with Hotel operators.
- Manage and monitor the Hotel operators in the Pre-opening stage and during the operation period.
-In general provide any service that related to Hotels and helps to reach the objectives and lead to success of the department.
The total budget value = 28, 000, 000, 000 SR (28 billion SR), I am one of KAFD project team members, the role is to represent the Owner (RIC) in any works that related to the project as following:
- Assist the project manager in the project daily work.
- Work as acting project manager during the absence of KAFD project manager.
- Prepare the high level correspondences for the project.
- Link between the different departments in RIC and KAFD project.
- Coordinate between the RIC’s site engineers and KAFD team in RIC head office.
- Manage, supervise, and monitor HENNING LARSEN ARCHITECTS (HLA) the designer of the “Children Interactive Museum” one of the attractor buildings in KAFD in the whole design stages and process. (Contract value= 9, 080, 380 SR).
- Manage, supervise, and monitor GENSLER the designer of the “Cloud 9” one of the attractor buildings in KAFD in the whole design stages and process.
(Contract value= 9, 052, 100 SR).
- Support and facilitate any issue related to the Project Management consultant HILL INTERNATIONAL (Hiring, payments, etc.).
- Work with General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to select a consultancy firm to conduct an Aeronautical Study for KAFD Project, and invite companies to submit their Technical and Commercial proposals.
(Contract value= 2, 081, 250 SR).
- Follow up the payments and facilitate and issue related to the three Hotel operators in KAFD (Wyndham, Intercontinental, and Indigo).
- Represent the Owner in the Visual Mock-up (VMU) visits for the factories who are manufacturing the Facades of KAFD buildings.
- Participate as a committee member in different technical and commercial committees for awarding beds.
The role was to manage a team work to establish (16) provincial tourism organizations (PTOs) in all administrative provinces around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My tasks were to originate the strategy and the work plan for PTOs, in addition, to find proper buildings for the PTOs, design, Furnish, develop, renovate, supervise the construction works, and give the full technical support to all of these PTOs.
