I am working in Sudanese petroleum pipe lines Co.Ltd (SPPC) from spt2015 up to date in Systems and Safety Equipment Department:
- Job title: Manager of Projects, Maintenance Manager for systems and Equipment
- Responsibilities: Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance for Fire Fighting System.

Duties:
Design System of firefighting.
Follow up on process projects including indoors and outdoors locations.
Responsible of final operating and programming of firefighting systems.
Follow up regular and periodic maintenance.
Follow up on client payments on equipment sold and service status.


Experience:
5 years’ experience in Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Systems as detailed in the following two parts:

Part 1: Type of work

1. Fire Alarm Detection System
Operating and programming of fire control panels.
Linking control Panel with computer using GRS (Graphic Reporting System).
Linking control Panel with computer using TRS (Texts Reporting System).
Professional with the following systems:
Kidde Products, specially VEGA Control Panel and Vega NET GRS System.
Advanced Electronics (MX 4000 Series) and PC Net 005 Graphic System.
C-TEC Company Products (XFP, AFP, Context Plus and Fire Finder Panels).
Apollo Products.

2. Water Fire Fighting System
Pump set operating - (electrical pump, jockey pump and diesel pump).
Fire Fighting Pipeline and hose reel system.
Oil Tank Protection (Foam Systems and TPS, Top Pourer System).



3. Gas Suppression System
Operating and programming of fire ECPs (Extinguishing Control Panels) to operate the following system:
Automatic CO2 System.
Automatic Aragonite System.
Automatic FM200 System.
Very good experience with gas suppression cylinders installation and familiar with gas cylinder solenoid and accessories.

1- Strong electrical & instrumentation problem solving and trouble shooting skills
2- Experience in maintenance of LV Motors, MV Motors, Circuit Breakers, Power Transformers and MC C's (Motor Control Center)
3- Experience in maintenance of plant instruments such as weigh feeders, gas analysers, dust monitors, measurement and feedback instruments.
4-Knowledge of industrial Medium Voltage Distribution.
5- Knowledge of safety laws, regulations and procedures
6- Experience on compiling bids or hands on experience for electrical and instrumentation systems and packages. (DCS/ESD/PLC/ SCADA /LV Switchgear/ cabling/ MCC/ Transformer / lighting, etc.)

9-Inspecting pipelines Projects (8inch, 12inch): the analysis of inspection data to identify defects.
10- Work in the field of maintenance FMC Smith Meter, The device is to be used as a stationary wholesale meter to measure gasoline, diesel and ethanol.

•I am working in Sudanese petroleum pipe lines co.Ltd (SPPC) in Project Management Department.
I’m responsible for overseeing all projects (electrical) and programs related to the project and assisting in the design, development, and implementation of the organization project management methodology.

Involved in site supervision works of installation, testing and commissioning activities, reviewing of the construction drawings / proposals for LV & HV cables routes and loads transfer, Site supervision works of diversion of loads from existing S/S to new B.B and removing of existing S/S, inspection materials at site, reviewing the As built.

Roles & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
1-Prepares technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.
2-Provides technical advice and guidance in all discipline aspects Provides technical assistance during per-bid conferences, proposal evaluations, and post-award or other contract conferences.
3-Reviews sub-consultant design drawings, specifications, and calculation submitting and coordinates with the works of other disciplines.
4-Reviews vendor/shop drawings and construction materials and/or equipment submitting.
5-Prepares conceptual designs, interface layouts and conflict solutions.
6-Establishing design concepts for lighting, fire alarm, and special systems.
7-Designing of power distribution systems including associated load, fault current and voltage drop calculations.
8-Carrying out design reviews at appropriate intervals during the design process with the Lead Engineer.
9-Carrying out detailed design coordination with other disciplines.
10-Managing other professionals on a project basis (Engineers, Auto CAD technicians, and support staff) and ensuring that work produced is to the required quality, produced on time, and within budget.
11-In depth knowledge of local electrical regulations, international design standards and codes of practice. Basic knowledge of local and international building codes, and structural / architectural industry practices.
12-Knowledge of building management systems as well as other electronic systems as applicable to modern buildings and systems integration along with AutoCAD, Rivet and Microsoft Office applications.
