• Monitoring and acknowledgement of BSS fault alarms (transmission, power, environmental, miscellaneous)
Preventive alarm monitoring & detection (external and power alarms)
Interrogation/isolation of alarms during faults (software loop testing, software resets, remote BTS hardware troubleshooting.
• Creation of trouble tickets regarding the monitored faults (for reference of dates, description of alarms, and possible cause of faults, solutions made and updates of troubleshooting)
• Coordination with Field Engineers for on-site troubleshooting and maintenance (transmission loop testing, alarm testing, BTS hardware testing).
• Provision and maintenance of databases (MUX plans, transmission diagrams, port assignments, site details)

• Coordination with NOC and FM team, DNP Team and planning for execution of the above
Tasks for effective functioning

• Optimization of the Network by studying Daily Performance Reports working on parameters likes SDCCH, TCH, & call drop rates parameters.

• Testing - VSWR, Return loose, BTS Power, External & Internal Alarms, Responsible for new
BTS’s sites hunting, RF survey, checking structure stability of buildings & site acquisition.

• Through E1’s as per Transmission planning for various sites in the network.





• Responsible for Planning and successfully completion of Acceptance Test (AT) & final verification
of BTS, cell site’s DG, Batteries & Resistance.

• Mobilization of allocated vendor teams to cell sites for installation activities.

• Co-ordinate the all installation activities required for cell site integration

• Involves in GSM & 3G mobile communication and its maintenance.
• Hardware optimization of different base transceiver station ( MOTOROLA, NORTEL) .
• Configuration and trouble shooting of Broadband connection.
• Maintenance and trouble shooting of PSTN ( Public switch Telephone network )
