Holding this position, I currently perfom the following tasks:
• Conduct face-to-face interviews with refugees in a non-confrontational, objective and dignified manner to obtain and input biographical data and information from applicants into the registration system currently used by IOM (WRAPS).
• Accurately record and relay data regarding resettlement cases, including biographical data and other sensitive information, resettlement preferences, questions and concerns and regarding resettlement processing in WRAPS.
• Establish the validity of an applicant's identity through verification of all demographic and biographic information including but not limited to: names, nationalities, birth dates, and locations of all immediate family members in order to complete the refugee case history as required.
• Draft applicant’s stories in English in a timely manner and on a daily basis.
• Perform duties including interpretation and translation, in both Arabic and English.
• Prepare and submit statistical data to relevant Supervisor(s) on a daily basis and as required.
• Counseling applicants on their cases as required.
• Promptly copy all the applicants’ identification documents as well as military booklets and medical reports, and add them to the physical files immediately after the interview.
•Insure that cases are ready to be presented to DHS.
• Schedule cases for DHS Interview
•Provide DHS officers with transportation/logistical support to and from IOM facilities
•Update WRAPS to reflect the USCIS status of the case
•Check and reconfirm anchor information with the applicants and update WRAPS accordingly.
•Promptly scan all DHS interview related documents into WRAPS immediately after the DHS interview
• Vet and/or verify all types of USRAP applications to determine possible program eligibility in accordance with guidelines;
• Respond to all incoming inquiries related to USRAP;
• Counsel applicants on their cases as required;
• Ensure WRAPS status is accurately updated with current information.
• Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all OPE matters following the USRAP standards of conduct.
• Meet daily targets set by management;
• Submit activity reports as required;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Record and maintain all human resource files and documents for all the staff.
• Process the monthly payrolls of all the employees.
• Responsible for all the expenses of the office and managing the petty cash.
• Arrange the annual, sick, paid and/or unpaid leaves of all the staff.
• Handle all the recruitment process including advertising for the vacant position, screening all the resumes submitted, interviewing the candidates and helping the management in selecting the best qualified candidate.
• Provide clarification, advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to all the staff throughout the firm.
• Assist in some feasibility studies and projects of the firm as required by the supervisor in preparing market researches, preparing questionnaires, writing reports, data entry, studies review, …etc.
• Apply for the Marketing Department requirements, as well as the company’s publication materials from the head quarter in Chen Zhen, China, and manage the whole process.
• Arrange meeting and record Meeting Minutes (MOMs) for the whole department.
• Arrange and coordinate events and Workshops.
• Assist in bidding and in preparing some researches and records concerning the Marketing Dept.
• Prepare the daily Telecom News including Huawei’s news and send it to all the staffs, as well as weekly send it to Huawei’s customers.
• Many translation and interpretation tasks in helping the communication between the local and Chinese staff.
• At Huawei, I also had the position of Jordan Office Security Officer, in order to best reserve the intellectual property and the commercial data of our company.
