Heading the position to handle direct and indirect tax compliance of the company in India
AIR WORKS INDIA ENGG. PVT. LTD., As Compliance Officer, July 2012 to till date.
During my article-ship tenure, I had an excellent exposure to various of assignments namely Formation of Private Limited Companies, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Vat Audit etc.
Formation of Private Limited Companies
• Filing of application for the availability of names with the Registrar of Companies.
• Filing of all the required forms with prescribed fees for formation of Private Limited Companies with the Registrar of Companies (ROC)
Statutory Audit
• Review of business processes and internal control procedures
• Acquiring in depth knowledge of the accounting processes and preparation of financial statements
• Thorough awareness of various Accounting and Auditing Standards, Guidance Notes, Corporate Laws and their application.
Indirect Tax
• Preparation and E-Filing of Vat returns, Vat Audit Reports and follow-ups with Department.
• Calculation of Service Tax, E-filing of service tax returns and attending Department.
• Preparation of details and attending Department for follow-ups and rectification.
Direct Tax.
• Calculation of Tax Deducted at Source and E-filing of TDS returns with the appropriate authority.
• Assisting the team in carrying out Tax Audits and liaison with Tax Auditors.
• Filing of Income Tax returns and follow-ups with department for rectification and refund.
• Assisting in preparation of notes, submission and letters in case of scrutiny matters.

• Petty Cash Book
• Bank Reconciliation.
