 Oversee employees, production and efficiency of people and machines, to make sure the Plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely
 The primary responsibilities includes leading the operation and maintenance of staff including workmen, the daily management and coordination of plant operations including sales, purchase, design, quality, production, planning and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labour, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations.
 Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
 Ensure maximum availability of facilities with reliability, usage of appropriate systems, within budget/resources to meet the targets.

Production Management:

 Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule
 Suggest new technological developments in the Plant to enhance production and quality.
 Ensure that the production is cost effective and decide what resources are required. Also draft a timescale for the job.
 Estimate costs and set the quality standards, participating in Technical Negotiations, Commercial Negotiations & Price Negotiations during post tender participation meetings.
 Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
 Review worker performance and identify training needs.
 Sign Start and Finish times on time cards daily.
 Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements.  Sheet Metal & Heavy Fabrication: Heavy fabrication of equipment drawings review and check the Bill Of Material before starting the fabrications. Ensure the quality standards of welding as per the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX and American Welding Society (AWS) standards are met.
 Sheet Metal fabrication and assembly of industrial equipment and wire harnessing of the same with control panels.
 Communicate and interact with field and project management to identify prefabrication opportunities
 Monitor the use of materials and care of equipment and plant to minimise waste and damage.
 Evaluate and monitor the production plan to meet the delivery target and ensure the resources availability for production like inventory & stock of material, contingency plan for manpower absentism, preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC Morieseiki, Makino A-55, CNC Punching, Bending and other equipments of plant like DG, compressor and cranes etc to available for utilization on time to increase productivity.
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
 Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.
 Assist in the management of an harmonious environment, team building and training of apprentices and other employees as required.
 Manage the installation of equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility

Planning:

 Preparation of PO for spares which has to be import from abroad (Europe and Asia).
 Getting the status of shipment of dispatched consignment from abroad weekly wise and prepare the documents related to consignment clearance through shipping clearance agent.
 Providing the documents as per customs regulations section 43 bill of entry, signed invoice, packing list, bill of lading/delivery order, importers/CHA’s declaration, bank draft, insurance, import license, industrial license, Catalogue, Technical write up, Literature in case of machineries, spares or chemicals as may be applicable.
 After the assessment and calculation of the duty liability as per section 14 of the Customs Act. Deposit the duty calculated with the treasury or the nominated banks with the co-ordination of clearance agent.
 Follow up with transporter and Indian Container Yard clearance agent about the dispatch of spares to company/customer.
 Ensure the status of spares as per invoice and packing list and prepare the comparison statement of invoice vs. purchase order.
 Dispatch of spares as per committed mode of transport on time as per PO terms.
 Updating the status of mixers which are crossed warranty period; accordingly arrange to supply required spares to the customers.
 Updating the change of designs and accordingly maintain the stock for old spares as well as trained to service engineers about the installation of new designed products.
 Follow up and updating the status of pending payments from the customers
