•Preparation of weekly Cash Forecasts and reporting the financial position to the Director and Finance Manager.
•Review of Daily Cash flow statement
•Review of monthly and annual Financial statements and perform various analysis
Export Operation
•Application of Pre shipment loan facilities and monitoring settlement of same
•Review of Export Letters of Credit for correctness of Terms and Conditions
•Review of Export documents before discounting or negotiation
•Liaison with bank officers with regard to various bank facility matters
Customs Operation
•Apply for approvals under Temporary Import for Export Processing (TIEP Scheme) with Sri Lanka Customs
•Preparation of Packing Material usage statement in order to declare goods under TIEP Scheme, and monitoring cancellations of liabilities under Bank Guarantees registered with Sri Lanka Customs
•Liaison with Customs officers with regard to various rules and regulations impose by Government time to time
•Possession of Customs House Agent Certificate
•Review Costing of Import Packing materials
Tax System
•Liaison with Inland Revenue officers with regard to Simplified VAT system and VAT refunds and
•Obtaining Tax Clearance Certificates when ever requested by Inland Revenue officers
