• Conduct daily tool box meeting to discuss the important of HSE aligned from their daily activity.
• Creation of HSE alertness and awareness amongst the site workforce through the safety, slogans,
posters and safety alert bulletins display out prominent places.
• Implementation of safety policy and procedures of the company.
• Implement Waste Management system in proper disposal & segregation of garbage.
• Awareness regarding planning, procedures emergency preparedness, accident prevention, safety
audits and all aspects of safety management.

• Ensure safety records are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Perform frequent safety compliance inspections at work locations.
• Verify client compliance for company and contractor equipment and maintain the records of inspections.
• Ensure incidents are investigated, reports are completed, and corrective actions are tracked
• Provide safety support including, but not limited to: construction safety, shutdown safety, project
safety, pre-job safety reviews, safety meetings, and tailgates.
• Perform substance abuse tests and investigations in adherence with the company’s substance abuse
policies and procedures
• Conduct Weekly HSE Meetings with Subcontractor
• Carry out Safety Inspection on the work site and ensure that condition stipulated in the permit is being carried out and works were carried out in a safe manner.
• Conducting work permit and JSA audit.

• Coordinating the Medical Examinations (Pre-employment, Confined Space Entry and Work at Height) as required by KNPC.

• Verify the Work Permits and activities and ensure that Equate Policies and Procedures are in compliance for all activities.
• Verify the Energy Control Plans and the isolation methods to ensure protection to personnel prior to and while performing work involving repair/alteration on equipment in which the unexpected energization or start-up of the machines or equipment, the release of energy or hazardous materials could cause injury.
• Verify the Safe Job Plans attached to the permits to ensure that all the steps of activities are captured in and hazards are identified and evaluated with mitigation methods are in place.
• Assisted in conducting various noise surveys, for various scheduled jobs including both routine and non-routine activities.
• Interact with working crew to evaluate the awareness and educate the plant specific requirements.
• Report EHS department any safety violation that need intervention from management with proper documentation system.
• Correct onsite unsafe behaviors and apply disciplinary actions if required as per Equate EHS department guidelines.
• Work in align with the Unit EHS team for various safety audits.
• Provide safety trainings for workers, confined space attendants, entrants and fire watchers on specific topics during turnarounds.
• Lead the team of safety officers during the shut downs and turnarounds.
• 5 No’s of Major Plant shutdown and 1 Major Turnaround completed successfully as Lead HSE Officer.
