• Preparing QA/QC Documents like PQR, WPS, Procedures, ITP as per specifications, codes & standards
• Conducting Welder qualification Test as per codes.
• Calibration certificates, material certificates (mill sheets) and consumer certificates are available and valid.
• Parent material identification is verified against documentation and markings.
• Material composition, type and condition.
• Check - Identification of welding consumables such as electrodes, filler wire, fluxes, shielding and backing gases and any special requirements (e.g. drying) are met.
• Plant and equipment are in a safe condition and adequate for the job.
• Safety permits e.g. hot work permit, gas free permit, enclosed space certificate are
available and valid
Inspection in oil& gas construction(Piping/welding/NDT)
Material inspection, Fit up inspection, Visual inspection, buckling inspection scantling inspection and leak test as per ABS code & AWS D 1.1
Pre welding activities, Fit up inspection and visual inspection and NDT activities of 48” pipe line as per standards
Pre welding Activities and after welding activites
• Stage-wise Inspection as per QA/QC plan; like Material identification, Fit-up, Weld Visual, NDT Clearance, Dimensions & level check, mechanical clearance, Hydro-test, blasting, Painting & Box up
• Monitoring the Welding activities as per approved WPS & project Specification
• Implementation of approved procedures (WPS & PQR) and maintaining quality records as per quality management system requirements
• Continuous monitoring of welding consumables and treatment of electrodes
I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
