The group has a strong presence in radio business. 94.3 MY FM, the radio brand of the group is the 4th largest radio network in India, with presence in 30 cities across 7 states. The digital arm of group, DB Digital has 2.62 billion collective page-views with 77.1 million unique visitors across its portals in four languages, Hindi, Gujarati, English and Marathi.

Key Deliverables:

Head digital advertising across market of U.P for group websites of Dainik Bhaskar that’s the world’s largest Hindi news website and reaches out globally to more than 80 Million unique visitors and delivers more than 2.62 Billion impressions on a monthly basis.
Generate revenues through sales of available inventory in the group’s digital platform of WEB (Online), WAP (Mobile), APP (Mobile Applications), social networking media & event sponsorships.
Identify and acquire business from corporate of private and government entity through sale of CPM, CPC, CPL, ROS Ads, Display Ads, Hi Impact Ads, Native Content, sponsored content, pre roll video ads, video production, digital activations & event sponsorships.
Analyze market and develop strategy to align with monthly revenue targets assigned by management.
Identify communication needs of client and create digital engagement strategies that encompasses the entire gamut of digital touch points available in the bouquet of Dainik Bhaskar

inext is India’s leading tabloid news daily in a bilingual format, that has caught on to the pulse of the Young at Heart. It has an impressive readership of more than 22 Lac readers across 12 mini metro cities in 4 states of India through its various editions and infrastructure. Its distinct packaging of news, brand initiatives & marketing solutions has won it many coveted awards & recognitions at international platform of afaqs, INMA & WAN-IFRA.

Key Deliverables:

Manage advertisement sales across all edition of inext to ensure revenue growth in the business.
New product development along with introduction of new marketing schemes to enlarge the bouquet of services available with inext in its operational market
Development of innovative tailor made advertising concepts to acquire new clients and enhance revenue from existing clients through cross selling and up selling of products available with inext.
Identify prospects of large business volumes in an operational market across all editions and generate business by mapping client requirement with our product.
Revenue assurance for minimization of bad debts and restricting overdue of outstanding payment than its stipulated time period.

Manage advertisement sales across all editions of inext that spans across 4 Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and comprise 12 mini metro cities of Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareily, Agra, Meerut, Dehradoon, Patna, Ranchi & Jamshedpur.
Manage & lead team of 12 unit managers with a frontline sales team of 110 people functioning under them to drive an annual business up to the tune of Rs.18 Cr.
Source business revenue from print advertisement, supplements advertising, coffee table books and through sponsorships of on ground & digital activations in a routine calendar year.
Design, develop & execute customized media solutions to suite the client’s promotional requirement through print innovation, events, activations, ATL & BTL activities, brand merchandising etc & thereby gain maximum share of media budget from clients.
Introduced bespoke innovations in print for premium advertising concepts of belly band, half jacket, 3D advertisement, Fragrance printing, Polybag advertising, glazed newsprint, embossed newsprint, 5 color newsprint, dye cut advertisement, advertising innovations through customization of style sheet, font & layout of newspaper etc.
Developed an independent business vertical of inext known as ‘Retail Master’ that focuses on retail advertising and accounts for an annual revenue of more than Rs.3 Cr. This initiative got an appreciation at the international platform of media advertising and has won a second place at INMA AWARDS 2013 in the category of ‘Advertising Sales & Retention’.
Designed and executed launch campaign for the foray of inext in digital media as www.inextlive.com and lead the commercialization of the project in an interest of organization.
The leakages in the machinery of revenue assurance were identified and the bad debts ratio is maintained at less than 5% of the total billing due for payment.
