Currently working as L2 Engineer in Reliance communication data centre, looking after
IDC managed services which include Planning, designing, operation maintenance of core
Infrastructure for RCOM Internet Data Centre Network for Mumbai and Hyderabad
Location.
Handle IDCs WAN and LAN topology consist of core distribution and access layer
Connectivity, mainly implemented CISCO layer 3 device with various routing protocol
Like OSPF & BGP with IPV4 as well as IPV6 addressing scheme.
Configuration of switching technology such as HSRP, VRRP and GLBP.
Operation and troubleshooting of Internet bandwidth related issue opted by IDC hosted
Client.
Designing/Redesigning & implementing of redundant LAN/WAN connectivity.
Monitor NOC, Handling complex LAN /WAN problem of IDC hosted managed services
Client.
Working on different OEM switches, Routers Load Balancers
Performance tuning of network, analyzing and securing the network.
Suggesting the changes as per requirement in Data Centre network for new customers.
Implementing IDC network changes according to Network change control procedure.
Co-ordinate with Infrastructure, Telco, service assurance management, and Business
process team to carry out data network, hardware installation, testing, and maintenance
activity.
Suggesting the network design as per the new and existing client’s requirements
Implement network changes according to Network change control procedure.
Manage Security tasks for Reliance/ Dedicated External Customer/Shared Customer hosted at IDC.
Responsible for Backup/restoration, updating of network/Security related Appliances.
Creation of FAM/Pool and services on Load Balancer.
We are responsible for tabulating the daily checklist which describes the health status, Utilization Stability of our Network and Security devices.
Configuration and troubleshooting Static of Default Route, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and PBR routing protocol.
Configuration and troubleshooting of QOS.
Handling Client/Internal Escalations and raise cases with TAC for Network related cases.
Maintaining and Publish Daily Checklist report for Security Devices and SEPM Report on Daily/Weekly/Monthly Basis.
Implement NAT rules on Firewall / Router.
Creating Zones, Policies on Firewall.
Responsible to keep Configuration Backup for All the Devices on Daily Basis.
Prepare the RCA/RFO for the client for the priority cases.
