• Has been given responsibility in the implementation of DQ HSE Management System on site.
• Implement the client’s regulations and rules.
• Implement international standards as well as local regulations.
• Review contractor’s HSE plan.
• Keeping a close contact with the Contractor’s HSE team.
• Carry out regular site HSE inspections and maintain records.
• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports regarding HSE matters etc. as required by the project.
• Issue site HSE instructions to the contractor when safety violations are identified.
• Participate in the investigation of serious accidents and submit reports to DQ HSE Manager/Client.
• Arrange/attend HSE meetings.
• Train site personnel and implement HSE trainings as per the program.
• Responsible for ensuring that all HSE issues are reported to HSE Manager.
• Review project documentation such as method statements / risk assessments and ensure that all hazardous work on site is covered within these documents.
• Ensure that all employees are aware of HSE procedures and emergency preparedness plans.
• Prepare site safety instructions, NCR, SOR and IR and forward it to HSE Manager /SRE when safety
violations are identified.
• Have the authority to stop the work if it is deemed that an imminent danger situation/condition is present and the worker/personnel are directly exposed.
• Set a high example of HSE at all times.
• Supportthe HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health and environmental issues.
• Ensuring Method Statements & Risk Assessments has been carried out for work activity.
• Provide support to the dept. on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives (ISO 45001).
• Initiate proactive monitoring methods i.e. Daily HSE inspection, Observation systems, Management leadership tours, periodical inspection of plant and machinery, Inspection of tools, scaffolds, lifting gears, etc.
• Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
• Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the Project HSE Manager for promulgation to the management
• Manage Safety Statistic reporting system. Track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the Dept. head.

Project: CAS-(W) MUET.
Responsibilities:
•Advice and monitor the implementation of health and safety systems and procedures at site.
•Communicate health and safety policy through induction, trainings, tool box talks, notice boards, HSE alerts, safety meetings, safety committee meetings, awareness programs etc.
•Carryout regular and random inspection on site and record the results, and initiate the control measures. Highlight the repeated and high risk to site management.
•Schedule and Coordinate external and internal trainings according the training matrix, Induction for new comers etc.
•Assisting in hazard identification, risk assessment/ method statements/safe systems of work for both low and high risk activities.
•Monitor internal traffic arrangements and minimize the risk.

Responsibilities:
•Advising and monitoring the implementation of health and safety system and procedures. Assistance for Risk assessment of operations and equipment involved& Preparing Emergency preparedness plans.
•Coordinate & conducting Safety Audits, Safety Inspections, Planning & implementation of Permit to work systems.
•Arrange safety committee meetings, sub con meetings attend weekly progress meeting etc.
•Coordinate with medical team / Labor welfare department. Conduct Fire Drill, maintain Fire Extinguishers. Register Customer complaints and take corrective action.
•Maintain all HSE related documents Update HSE training records. Monitor all HSEO activities & co-ordinate with Clients, Site In charges etc. Implement Behavior based Safety.
•To organize a safety and health training programme, conducting the Job Safety/Hazard Analysis, in order to evaluate the potential hazards, identification of hazardous condition and hazardous exposure on site.
•Establish and implementation of company emergency evacuation procedures.
Project:Water Sector Improvement Program (WSIP).
Responsibilities:
•Provides the necessary advice to the construction crew on jobsite health and safety issues, Monitor compliance to the Company HSMS.
•To inspect the work place on site regularly and randomly in order to identify hazards and outstanding matters health and safety and record results.
•Ensuring that HSE policies and procedures are understood and implemented at company places of work.
•Ensures using the correct tools and equipment for the task.
•Inspect all places to ensure safe system of works is being employed
•Conducting Near miss, Accident and Incident Investigation and preparing report.
