at King Abdullah financial district, RIYADH (High tech. silver - LEED) project (worth 10 billion US $ or 38 billion SR), the project has high rise buildings in one location using concepts of SMART buildings & SMART cities, with following job responsibilities :-
•MEP design review based on SBG / BURO HAPPOLD submission client approval,
•Technical & performance specs review & suggest necessary alterations,
•Review materials & shop drawings based on approved MEP design & tech + performance specs,
•Follow site work based on technical & performance specs + project schedule with safety aspects,
•Carrying out critical inspections (factory visits) & quality control,
•Approval of progress payment bills as submitted by the contractor,
•Review & updating of weekly & monthly progress reports (as submitted by contractor) for onward submission to client (RIC - Rayadah investment company),
•Development of self & sub-ordinates to accept greater challenges thru the process of influence & achievement motivation,
•Working on district cooling systems for KAFD - project for ppa-10b. This covers co-ordination with various parcels of KAFD, for chilled water quantity required & individual + total cooling loads for all parcels of ppa-10b,
•Assessment of work progress at site & notify contractor for delay by evoking penalty clause,
•Obtaining mitigation / recovery plan from contractor in case of anticipated delays,
•Replying / accessing contractor’s claims for variation orders & value engineering,
•Ensuring project is completed on time with quality at par with international standards + given project specs & within the budget, to a complete satisfaction of my client,
•Working on automatic waste collection system for high rise buildings,
•Co-ordinating with M/S MEINHARDT (third party inspection team by client) + O & A (KAFD-design reviewer) on weekly / monthly basis to settle down MEP related issues.
REPORTING STAFF FOR UNDERSIGNED IN DAR at KAFD project:- Total - 34 no.
•SR. ENGINEERS 6 nos.
•SR. INSPECTORS 12 nos.
•INSPECTORS 14 nos.
•DOCUMENT CONTROLLERS 2 no.
