Major responsibilities pertained to performing technical reviews and evaluating environmental health and safety regulatory documents, work plans, and reports resulting from the Department activities, the Transport Sector and nominated entities.
Assist in preparing draft Environmental, Health and Safety guidance and regulatory documents.
Oversee implementation of the environment, health and safety management system within the DOT different sectors and nominated entities.
Assist in tender evaluations and follow-up of consultants and contractors works.
Oversee risk assessments, inspection and audits as necessary.
Assist in the reporting process to relative authorities.
Accountable for technical reviews and evaluating work plans and reports resulting from the Hazardous Waste Amendments (HSWA) portion of operating and post-closure permits.

Demonstrated excellence in reviewing the groundwater portions of administrative orders (Compliance Orders and Administrative Orders on Consent) for violations in the groundwater requirements in the Rules.
Facilitated the completion of Environmental Indicators (EI’s)
Conducted Comprehensive Groundwater Monitoring Evaluation (CME) and Operations & Maintenance Evaluation (O&M) commitments set forth in the State’s Hazardous Waste Management Work Plan.
Maintained health and safety policy and guideline and implement at both office and site.
Member of the Division’s team of Health and Safety.
Utilize geographic positioning system (GPS) equipment to collect geographic coordinates of the Bureau of Land and Waste Management Superfund RCRA/CERCLA sites.
Provide support to the BLWM personnel on GPS/GIS operations of the Bureau of Land and Waste Management (BLWM) in conjunction with the GIS manager.
Oversee mine planning and grid design, heavy equipment stripping, drilling, blasting, raw material hauling and crushing in opencast mine.
Execute groundwater research projects; groundwater well network installations; isotope-hydrogeology researches; managing groundwater research center; assist in formulation and documentation of regulations and guidelines for commercial entities to research, install and manage water resources.
Masters in Earth and Environmental Resources Management. It includes courses in Geology, Hydro-geology, Geochemistry, Statistics, Groundwater Modeling mixed with classes in business administration comprising Environmental Economy, Organization Development, Human Resources Management and Modeling in Geography.
