• Preparation of BOQ, reviewing tender details and quantity take off.
• Attending both internal (site management team & senior management) and
external (client, consultants, subcontractors etc) meetings for establishing project
budget.
• Reviewing and updating the costing as per the current market values and forecasting project margins.
• Preparing project budget once a job is awarded.
• Maintaining a variations log that tracks the current status of all variations in the project.
• Preparation of technical and commercial queries, facilitating post & pre tender discussion with clients and site visits.
• Preparation of BOQ, reviewing tender details and quantity take off.
• Reporting project feasibility studies directly to Technical Manager, Division Manager or Chairman.
• Attending both internal (site management team & senior management) and external (client, consultants, subcontractors etc) meetings for establishing project budget.
• Maintaining a variations log that tracks the current status of all variations in the project.
• Reviewing and updating the costing as per the current market values and forecasting project margins.
• Providing contract and legal matter solutions along with drafting of sub contract agreement.
• Reviewing procurement department’s analysis of all subcontract tenders, along with the Manager, and making recommendations to Procurement Department concerning choice and appointment of Subcontractor.
• Coordinating with Sales department regarding the status of the projects.
• Preparing weekly sales report and presenting the same in sales meeting.
• Also have experience in estimating various other miscellaneous works like structural steel handrails, platforms, cold formed sections, ladders etc.
• Reviewing of engineering drawings from the consultant and providing potential inputs.
• Preparing the bar bending schedule as per the requirements from contractor.
• Making the production schedule.
• Leading a team of technical people for the construction activities
• Attend project progress meetings
• Meet the requirement of the consultant in every aspect of production.
• Arrange the mill test certificates and other necessary documents for inspection.
• Co-ordination with the site.
• Managing the work force.
• Maintaining the stock
• Making invoices against delivery.
• Reviewing tender drawings and Preparation of BOQ.
• Variations log that tracks the current status of all variations in the project.
• Preparation of quotations with reference to the BOQ.
• Maintaining project and awarded jobs list.
