1. As Work Permit Co-ordinator- To Check the application for permit, Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Map of Area, Plot Plan.
2. To Extend the time of the permit for Evening Shift till next morning.
3. To check the permit with a ‘Permit Checklist’ at the site.
4. To check the site- Illumination with ‘Lux-meter’.
5. Cross check the ‘Checklist’ of Batching Plant of the Implementing Contractor, (L&T).
6. To supervise ‘Lock-out & Tag-out’ of the Mixer, while cleaning and maintenance being done.
7. NDT of Pipes at Company’s workshop to ascertain Pipe-Integrity.
8. Ensure that welding procedures are properly documented and meet specific project requirements and are in line with Safety Directives.
9. Perform Hydro-Tests of Pipelines to ascertain integrity of Pipeline Joints.
10. To work as Assistant to Safety Manager for organising weekly Safety Committee Meeting and preparing agenda and MOM.
11. To Check all Vehicles and Earth-movers for Fitness with a ‘Checklist’.
12. To take Pictures of any Safety Violation at the site and report to the Safety Manager (MM), Copy to Shell and L&T.
