My main responsibilities include sampling, qualitative and quantitative analysis of environmental samples. Prepare SOPs, standard solutions, reagents and laboratory reports. Perform calibration of laboratory instruments. Verifies the obtained test and analysis results and check its compliance with the specifications and limits. Enters the results in the computer system. Assist in documentation and implementation of ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 17025:2005. Use Laboratory Management System (LMS) and AquaChem Software for the preparation of laboratory analysis reports and graphical representation of data. Also assist in air quality field survey.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carried out sampling of drinking water, surface water, ground water, industrial effluent, municipal waste water, soil or other type of environmental samples from different locations at field.
* Carried out sample preparation and perform physical, chemical and instrumental analysis on samples using standard methods of US-EPA / APHA / ASTM / AWWA /QAJQC.
* Carried out special non-routine tests and trials whenever requested by supervisor to validate, develop and improve the testing methods, optimize the operating parameters and conditions for better performance and output.
* Prepare Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for field sampling, physical parameter testing at field, preservation, handling and transportation of samples/equipments.

* Supervise calibration of all laboratory instruments periodically and maintain its record.
* Maintain the inventory of the standard solutions and reagents required for the environmental analysis.
* Conduct quality & chemical safety internal audits.

* Collect data and monitoring the evolution of some results, preparation of chemical analysis reports. Verifies the obtained test and analysis results and check its compliance with the specifications and limits. Enters the results in the computer system.
* Root cause analysis of Non Conformance (NC) by taking corrective and preventive action.
* Reading articles and literatures related to environmental control.
