Manage and control IT systems (ERP, Production System, CRM, Integrations) for Al Ghurair Group as central IT unit. To assure better services for the group units and reduce the cost for each and every unit.
Prepare proposals for Business Management to introduce new technology or compare between different solution for the scope of work.
Manage and coordinate between the internal team and the external suppliers hired for Projects, Support or AMCs
Present and report to units’ managements the current situation of IT solutions and the challenges which IT is working for.

Manage and control IT Projects for 4 Units in Metals Industries Group and control the cost of
implementation or enhancement.

Key Achievements:
Develop the IT Policy for all Metals Industries Units with road map to unify the IT Structure in all
business units on the group
Manage project initiation, RFP and scope definition, Vendor comparison and awarding processes
for IT Projects.
Implement ERP Enhancement (new modules) in Oracle Apps to satisfy the business requirements
Implement Extrusion Management System implementation to control and monitor the
production processes in Gulf Extrusions and the value adding services to manager the OTD and
production cost
Manage ERP - EMS Integration between ERP and Productions system via Oracle SOA
Manage CRM Implementation Salesforce to cover the Sales Processes, Commercial Departments
activities and Customer web/Mobile application
End User Computing Project: upgrade and install industrial systems for Gulf Extrusions plant,
more than 30 industrial systems
Enforce the hard closing of the Financial periods within 3 working days of the month
Re-Establish the Network Active and passive components on the company to assure the full
coverage of the plant with wire and wireless network.
Initiate Document Management System with correspondence module to cover the entire
communication and approval workflow in Gulf Extrusions toward paperless company
Initiate Mail Server re-implementation to Microsoft Exchange instead of Zimbra
Define project scope, goals, milestones and deliverables that support business goals in
collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Analyze system requirements and developed a backup and restoration resolution to
increase the system efficiency
Plan, execute, track and finalize projects according to milestones and deliverables
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
