● Led a team of 11 members to manage the brand and communications of Africell, handling all advertising, promotions, CSR, and public relations.
● Planned and executed CSR activities such as the “Africell Uganda Marathon 2018 & 2019”, organised a donation of 3 brand new vehicles for the government of Uganda in line with our promise to support the fight against the spread of covid19.
● Participated in the brand launch across different regions, ensuring the network installation and proper functionality, including the commercial launch, and building marketing teams.
● Launched new products and services, managed public announcements, dealt with TV, radio, and other communications channels: social media, newsletters, press releases, publications, and online events…)
● Oversaw the development of communication materials closely guaranteeing the consistency and reliability of the brand and respecting the communication guidelines.
● Designed and launched the “King of Bundles” and the “Swift” campaigns positioning Africell as a leading data services provider, and offering youth and students access to social media at affordable prices.
