Have successfully established the 3D Volume Report procedure involving the use of PowerCivil in quantifying Fixed Rate works and solely in-charge for the accomplishment of such for interim and completion claims. Manages all quantities related to Civil, Infrastructure and Marine works; Manages the daily and monthly verification survey plans and conducts joint field surveys with the consultant and client for the pre and post work inspections; Interface and agree contractual change orders and develops the Quantity Survey Report; Manages and maintains fixed rate and fixed price daily and weekly works progress reports as well as the monthly quantity forecasting report. Evaluates and approves subcontractor’s monthly progress quantities for interim payments based on actual progress at site and reconciles and settles final account for variation works.
Prepares estimates and bill of quantities for interior fit-outs, architectural, structural, civil works & MEPF rough-ins of various luxurious hotels and high-end residences based on documents, drawings and specifications issued for bidding; attends projects feasibility studies with client representatives prior to preparation of budget cost estimate; attends design, construction and pre-bid meetings; prepares set of tender documents for issuance to bidders and responses to bidders queries; evaluates subcontractors’ submitted bids and compares with company estimates; evaluates, negotiates and approves contractors claim for additional works; negotiates and approves subcontractors’ project final account.
Prepares detailed estimates and proposals for structural steel, civil, & MEPF works as per the bid documents supplied by the client and attends pre-bid meetings; Prepares & Adjusts Unit Costs of Materials & Labor for Costing; Performs site visits & ocular inspections on projects & prospective projects; Implements Cost Control on materials, consumables & equipment; Derives competitive material and labor costs as per latest market prices and man-hour rates. Checks and finalizes estimates made by the estimators and collaborates with the CAD operator to achieve the most economical cutting lengths and areas of steel plates and structural members for fabrication; prepares progress billing of on-going projects.
Prepares cost proposals and follows-up the development of such; responds to contractual notices, entitlements, BOQs, review of applications for payment, progress, variations and claims; prepares and adjusts unit costs of materials & labor for competitive costing. Cost Control on Materials, Consumables & Equipment; manages and creates drawings for Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machines and provides 3D actual models of complex designs for best visualization; prepares progress quantities for claiming interim payments and variation orders, approval of monthly invoices and attending of meetings related to quantities and payment; manages the daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. Conducts inspection and site visits to make sure that the designs are properly implemented in accordance to the plans and standards; coordinates with the Project Manager in case of changes and modifications of the design.
Supervises on-going housing construction and land development; lays-out road center lines, boundaries and drainage systems; provides the desired elevation for roads manholes, waterlines and sewer lines; checks and finalizes layouts, subdivisions and level markings done by the survey subcontractor; prepares weekly billing for subcontractors; coordinates with the homeowners for rectifications and issues regarding their units; provides information to prospective buyers regarding specifications of the units; and, coordinates with the discipline Engineers regarding matters of their scope.
