• Review the tender documents such as the BOQ, drawings and specifications to understand the scope of the project and its requirements.
• Draw structural shop drawings, including framing plans and steel reinforcement distribution including all necessary details such as number, location, length of steel bars and relevant sections and elevations or any another information that are needed to understand how to correctly implement the drawings on the construction site, using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Calculate steel (Bar Bending Schedule) and concrete quantities.
• Divide the project into activities with durations and resources.
• Schedule and update the project using Primavera P6.
• Compare the actual resources being used to the budgeted quantities.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure that they are working with up to date information.
• Supervise project employees, including in-house, external contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure that all activities are executed according to approved shop drawings and are within the agreed on schedule.
