● Be the first point of contact for welder, denting and painting employees.
● Preparing job cards, and identifies all kinds of denting and painting works.
● Assists and maintain job quality control in all aspects of welding and painting.
● Make sure all materials needed are ready, and safety workshop procedures are followed prior to work.
● Ensure that welder and painting employees are fully briefed on operation targets and goals.
● Ensure all fuels and other consumables are ordered in a timely manner to maintain consistent operations.
● Ensure any incident/accident is reported correctly and accurately in a timely manner.
● Carry out efficiently the direction of the foreman and liaise with other employees regarding operations.
● Evaluate completed welds and paint jobs as per specifications.
● Supervised and assigned works to less experienced welders as needed.
● Assist with special chief operations as deemed necessary.
● Welds, fabricates and repairs all kinds of automotive and industrial works.
● Assist in maintaining Job quality control in all aspects of welding and fabrication.
● Maintain workplace clean and organized.
● Procures all parts and materials needed.
● Operate hand and power tools effectively.
● Inspects and troubleshoots basic auto body works.
● Repairs and fabricates fiberglass damaged products.
● Doing welding of any medium necessary to accomplish the mission put forth (MIG, TIG, GAS, SMAO)
● Performed thermal cutting, plasma cutting, grinding, soldering and heat plating operations.
● Repair all types of general purpose vehicles, to include: ATV’s, SUV’s, Truck, Buses and specially Racing Cars.
● Repairs, fabricates and reinstall damaged automotive body parts.
● Liaise with the work planning supervisor on timely updating of related manufacturing activities.
● Developed work instructions based on specifications.
● Ensure that the welds meet tolerance, quality and other requirements.
● Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented and strictly adhered.
● Identify and address operational problems in a timely fashion.
● Inspect completed welds for any cracks and defects
● Prepares the list of all materials needed for automotive body works painting and submits to purchasing officer.
● Repairing, sanding and preparing of parts needed to be painted.
● Making sure workshop procedures on safety are followed prior to start the painting.
● Using spray epoxy primer and different kinds of automotive paints.
● Doing detailed automotive body works
