This is a free standing dialysis center, under the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia with 45 DIALOG + ADIMEA BBRAUN TYPE OF MACHINE bed. It caters both private patients as well as industrial sectors. It has the distinct privilege to scale more heights in terms of personalized, safe and effective service, upgraded medical equipment’s and comfortable state of the art facilities. Caters HEMODIALYSIS AND HEMODIFILTRATION TREATMENT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Stand as an EQUIPMENT MANAGER who handles machines (hemodialysis machine, ECG, O2 concentrator, infusion pump and cleo) basic trouble shooting. Ensuring that it is well calibrated to attend the needs of the patient and other health care team.
•Responsible in ensuring a quality and safe water in the facility by taking a monthly water sampling
•Responsible in changing the machine filter every time it reaches its’ total number of hours.
•Responsible in taking a quarterly chemical analysis on selected machines to ensure that the water is free from any chemical and hard metal substances.
•Responsible in giving total patient care to CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE PATIENT THRU HEMODIAFILTRATION and HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENT.
•Demonstrate and deliver safe and effective care to acutely ill renal patients according to Trust protocol.
•Strict adherence to BBV (Blood Borne Viruses) and Isolation Protocols for infection prevention Reads and carries out doctor’s orders.
•Reads and carries out doctor’s orders.
•Performs, monitors and records pre intra and post dialysis vital signs.
•Initiates cardio pulmonary resuscitation in the event of cardiac or pulmonary arrest happens.

-Stand as a Secondary LABORATORY NURSE, who is responsible for distributing tubes for monthly and quarterly laboratory examinations, bar coding in the system as inputs and responsible for processing all the blood samples of the patient. Ex. Centrifuge and proper storage of the blood collected.


CASES HANDLED: Acute and Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes mellitus, Hypertensive Kidney Disease.
EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: DIALOG+ ADIMEA D, medication infusion pump, cardiac monitor, setting up tubing’s and parameters of a ventilator machine and hoist.

• Provide direct care to chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis based on the rules and regulations established by the DOH and approved company policies and procedures during treatment hours.
• Strict on compliance on physical and fluid assessment to patient’s pre-dialysis.
• Strict adherence to BBV (Blood Borne Viruses) and Isolation Protocols for infection prevention.
• Assess, inspects, regulates and monitors all machine settings and parameters.
• Acts as a senior nurse of the unit.

• Provide direct care to chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialyis based on the rules and regulations established by the DOH and approved company policies and procedures during treatment hours.
• Strict on compliance on physical and fluid assessment to patient’s pre-dialysis.
• Strict adherence to BBV (Blood Borne Viruses) and Isolation Protocols for infection prevention.
• Assess, inspects, regulates and monitors all machine settings and parameters.
• Acts as a nurse-in-charge of the unit in the absence of the head nurse.

• Conduct through assessment procedures to patients using cephalocaudal approach ( head to toe assessment), obtaining medical history through interview, taking vital signs as basis in planning and implementing appropriate interventions to patient.
• Inform physician of any abnormalities in laboratory result.
• Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan implement, coordinate and evaluate patients and their families.
• Administer medicines and treatments as prescribed by the physician in accordance with proper drug administration.
• Monitor, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patient’s condition in cases of Medical Emergencies, Unstable patients, Medication errors and holding Medication to the physician.
• Operate and monitor medical apparatus and equipment such as Blood Pressure Apparatus, suction Apparatus, ECG machine, pulse oximeter, infusion pump, Ambu bag valve mask.
• Instruct patients and families regarding home medication s and preparation of adequate foods, follow up check up before discharging period.
• Strict on compliance on physical and fluid assessment to patient’s pre-dialysis.
• Strict adherence to BBV (Blood Borne Viruses) and Isolation Protocols for infection prevention.
• Assess, inspects, regulates and monitors all machine settings and parameters.
