Fixed Assets:
• Processing assets invoices and entering the data into Oracle system.
• Prepare GL reports and Fixed Assets Report and comparing them together in monthly bases and make sure that the balances are matching, and solve incorrect balances if needed and correct them by creating journal entries.
Clear the Assets clearing section in balance sheet and post them to FA modules after making sure that they are 100% assets, and run the necessary reports needed to accomplish that.
• Being responsible in creating reports and enhancing procedures and processes for our section.
• Was involved in the team which was responsible in counting all the Assets and compare them to RTA Assets books, and register the ones not been in books.
• Being a part of the team to finalize yearly physical account.
• Responsible in closing yearly and monthly Financial Period for Fixed Assets module as per as KPI.
• Reconciling Fixed Assets Modules and compare them to GL.
• Running GL reports in addition to Fixed Assets is needed.
• Organizing a workshop for the finance employees to get them know about RTA assets and the work behind it, in order to keep all the modules reconciled.
Capitalize the project which are finished enter the important data into the system (complete date, assets life, category and sub category) in order to calculate the depreciation and the accumulated depreciations.
Contact the departments to provide us with the supporting documents for finished projects, Public busses contracts.
Reconciling the data registered in finance books with the once registered in FA departments books.
