I have worked as assistant research engineer for almost 4 years, in these 4 years I have learned a lot of stuff and gained experience in the field of standard preparation, audit and certification
Beside my job I do a lot of side work, I am the debut for our sections head, hence I can prepare work plan, attend meeting with clients …ect
Also I work as the quality manager for our office and I have been trained in ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO17025 and ISO Guide67 beside that I have attended 7 audits 1 as observer on ISO 9001 3 as observer on ISO 17025, 2 as observer in ISO GUIDE 67 and 1 as an auditor in training on ISO 17025
And I am in the Dubai Excellency team manly provide evidence and prepare for Excellency audit
I am also a member in our work community for preparing events and help employees in need. ..ect.
Then I have been promoted to Senior Standardization Researcher and worked for 2 years 5 months. With addition to the above my duties were:
-Help in preparing Dubai Municipality standards (DMS) and regulations in civil engineering fieldwork
-Study and prepare reports and research for certification purposes for non-standard materials . granting Technical Approval Certificate.
-Conduct audit on factories (as lead auditor) based on ISO 9001 for certification purposes for non-standard materials
-Conduct audit based on ISO 17025
- issue Thermal Transmission certificates (U-value calculation) for walls and blocks as per Dubai Municipality Standards DMS 1 part 5
Then I have been promoted to Senior Products Quality Engineer
- in addition to all previous responsibilities in the last 2 positions:
- Conduct Audit (as lead auditors some times) on factories (Ready mix concrete, thermal insulation , blocks, steel bars, admixtures, steel couplers and Aluminum Composite panels), as factory assessment based on ISO 17065 for certification bodies, inside and outside UAE. And according to different certification categories.
- Prepare audit plan and audit program for the visit.
-Test witnessing
- communicate with customers and laboratories for testing arrangements.
my total GPA was (2.5 good) and in Major Courses was (GPA 2.80 very good) [On scale of 4.00] Elective courses form the department: 1. Transportation engineering 2. Design of concrete structures 3. Traffic engineering 4. Estimating construction cost 5. Environmental engineering II Final year project: 1. Civil ENG Design Project I 2. Civil ENG Design Project II 3.
