Technical Office manager in Bluu Qatar, one of the leading design, construction and procurement services company in Gulf region, part of the Redco Almana Group in Qatar. Managing and coordinating design and construction issues with international reputable Consultants and Contractors, multidiscipline Construction Team and high profile Interior Design Team. Responsible for package 3 Interior Design and Exterior Illumination on the palatial Qatar Emir's Villa TJ Pearl Mansion. Impressive modern villa was designed by famous Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas and the artistic study of exterior illumination was designed by French renowned lighting artist Yann Kersale. Villa is located in Isola Dana Private islands; the most exclusive living area within the Pearl of the Gulf in Qatar. Multimillion total budget of the development with target date February 2016.

As the Technical Manager I was responsible for the coordination between the Technical Office and “the site”, meaning Site Managers, Site architects and Subcontractors. I was coordinating and managing all specific tasks in the Technical Office such as review of all drawings and specifications, structural design review and shop drawings, BIM modelling coordination, Architectural review, Finishing and fit-out works and other specific tasks related to the project. One of the duties was also to manage, submit and get approval on all submittals (shop drawings, method statements, approval of materials), to coordinate all planning issues (reviews, updates), to prepare local purchases and coordinate with the purchase department, to organize distribution of documents and arrange reporting to all relevant parties (to the site for execution, to the management for reporting, to the client and consultants for approval).

When working for Frank Ennis & Associates I gained experience in many different areas such as drafting and preparing planning application packages, tender stage, construction and working drawings, licensing and surveying. I was also heavily involved in project management, dealing with contractors, sub-contractors, planners, consultants, city and county councils, setting up client and site meetings. I worked on a large variety of proposals including a number of award winning projects. These included master planning for up to 20, 000 units, large residential and large commercial developments, hotels, spa and sport centres and small residential developments. I was also involved in company portfolio management. This entailed taking of high specification photographs for interiors and exterior elevations, web site maintenance and project brochure design using In Design, Photoshop and PowerPoint presentations. I am also proficient in free hand drawings which I put into use daily.
