Responsible and accountable for the implementation of site Health, Safety and Environment, providing training, hazard identification/communication, statistic report, HSE inspection, regulatory organization, guidance, mentoring, gathering data and interpretation, monitoring on contractors safety performance and check observance of the permit to work systems.
Project substation/cable was energized successfully and was awarded by company.
• Carry out internal safety audit with the team to subcontractors and plant department.
• Carry out safety walkthrough audit with Client representatives, Consultant and company HSE auditors.
• Carry out site safety inspections, safety walk around, safety committee meeting.
• Carry out safety inductions and office inspections.
• Accident, incident investigation and reporting.
• Assisting, reviewing and monitoring Project HSE plans review.
• Induction and permit coordinator.
• Implementation of Client and company safety standards and PTW system.
• Implementation of ISO 14001 and 18001.
• Ensuring proper disposal of hazardous waste / non hazardous waste.
• Provide recommendations, suggestions and attending Clients, Consultants safety meetings.
• Reviewing subcontractor’s method statements, risk assessments and COSHH.
• Monitoring the certificate validity of operators and equipments on site (hoist, tower cranes, mobile cranes, electricians, welders, riggers, lifting equipments and etc.)
• Liaise to plant department for confirmation and checking of certificate validity and inspections.
• Preparing weekly progress report, monthly report, minutes of meeting, safety committee minutes of meeting, safety management meeting and weekly safety walk around report.
• Monitoring and ensuring appropriate safety signages, alerts and prohibitions are in placed.
• Site Safety documentation in-charge (monitoring, reviewing and updating).
