Sales & Marketing
Design fixed round trip itineraries and packages quotations for travel agents as well as tailor-made tours in compliance with the end users’ requirements and aspirations, while using local expertise and deep knowledge of the destination,
Liaise with tourism agencies on the Western Europe and CIS markets to accommodate, promote and implement local tours and excursions,
Prepare fam-trips to familiarize travel agents with the destination, strengthen partnerships and boost sales.
Explore the destination and conduct research about its historical, cultural and religious heritage and understand local people’s views in order to propose an enriching and authentic experience to the clients,
Develop presentations and promotional literature for the end-users.
Reservations & Logistics
Make bookings (hotels, suppliers) for F.I.T., VIP, Business travelers and groups,
Deal with the contracting and accounting departments (properties contracts, rates and promotions, yielding and invoicing),
Coordinate with hoteliers, suppliers and guides to offer a seamless service to the in-house guests,
Liaise with the Operations Manager for the implementation of round trips and daily operations activities.
Handle customer service to maintain it at the highest level, escalate shortfalls and failures to the manager and deal with complaints.
Trainings engineering (pedagogical/logistic/administrative) : marketing prospection, catalogue products drafting, new partnerships search/development, training offer promotion,
International conferences setting up : team coordination, thematics/contents suggestion, proposals drafting, search for providers/sponsors, administrative and financial follow-up, event logistics.
Operational management and communication : support to the executive office, webmarketing, website development.
Deliver lectures to eleventh and twelfth grades of high school option Management Science and Technology with a major in Human Resources Management & Communication/Marketing. Pedagogical engineering, knowledge transfer, personal development, team work.
Public Relations/Communication/Press Contact
Monitor Omani, GCC and Middle East political events, perform a daily press review, write diplomatic telegrams.
Stand for the Embassy of France in seminars, meetings and cooperation projects.
Design the multichannel communication plan, prepare and disseminate infographics, assume the role of privileged interlocutor with media and sponsors.
Translate documents, update the embassy’s website.
Artistic Direction
Draft, monitor and follow the cultural program, coordinate the technical implementation of shows and exhibitions technical facilities. Prepare bilateral cooperation projects (educational and judicial fields) in conjunction with institutional bodies (ministries, universities, foundations).
Study trip to Syria and Lebanon to meet important actors of the political reconstruction in Lebanon, writing of a collaborative analysis and prospective research: “Lebanon, reflection and testing ground, forewarning of tomorrow’s major strategic challenges”.
Modern Arabic (written – media, politics and international relations language – and oral), classical (medieval texts study) and dialectical (Syrian-Lebanese-Palestinian) training. Civilization classes (Social and cultural history of the medieval Middle East, History of the contemporary Near East, Geography of the Maghreb/Mashreq, Anthropology of contemporary Islam, Islamology, Arab thought), Classical and Nahḍa Arabic literature.
