• FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR CALL-OFF CONTRACTS FOR
LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION AND ANCILLARY WORKS
The Public Works Authority (PWA) also known as Ashghal is responsible for the planning,
design, procurement, construction, asset management and delivery of infrastructure and
building works in the State of Qatar.
The Authority’s intention is to enter into a Framework Contract for hard and soft
landscaping, irrigation and ancillary works including cyclepaths, with rates, prices and/or
percentages fixed and applicable for a period of 1095 days, with an option to extend for a
further period of 730 Days. There will be no minimum or maximum restriction as to size
other than the work order price.
The Works comprise of the comprehensive design (where indicated), shop drawings,
supply, construction and installation and delivery of material, labor, equipment and services
including testing and commissioning as necessary for the completion of the Works. It will
also include the application for necessary permits, providing temporary utilities on Site,
managing personnel on Site, disposing or recycling of construction waste, monitoring
schedules as described within this document and the Work Order for the delivery.
Following are the Parks Awarded as of February 2020:
1. Al Abraj Park with cafeteria -design and construction of 4, 727 sq. meter park.
2. Fereej Chlaib Plaza - design and construction of 10, 425 sq. meter park.
3. 5/6 Park - design and construction of 168, 000 sq. meter park.
4. Arab League Street - design and construction of 6.40 km Street Park.
5. Amiri Diwan Plaza - design and construction of hardscape.
6. West Bay Plaza - design and construction of 1150 m2 plaza.
7. Post Office Park - design and construction of 19, 869 m2 park.
The Oryx International School is in the city of Doha, Qatar. The project occupies a net floor
area of 39, 364 m2 consisting of classrooms, canteens, sport halls, offices, library, parking
and other supporting services.

• MSHEIREB DOWNTOWN DOHA PROJECT PHASE 1B
Msheireb Downtown Doha is the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project;
designed to regenerate and preserve the historical heart of Doha.
The Msheireb Heart of Doha Development is located close to the historic origins of Qatar’s
capital city next to Amiri Diwan.
The project is the development and regeneration of 35 hectares of old and rundown parts
of inner Doha which responds to vision and challenges set by His Highness Shiekha Mozah
Bint Al Missned (Emir’s wife). It is unique opportunity to regenerate the core of the city as a
place to live and work, and to reflect the growing international importance of Doha. The
Msheireb Heart of Doha is a mixed use development comprising Retail, Commercial,
residential, Hotel, Cultural & Community facilities. A Basement extends over the entire site
area, housing all major utilities containment, service vehicle access and accommodation
car parking.

The overall development will be executed in 7 phases (PH 1A, PH 1B, PH 1C, PH 2, PH 3, PH
4 & PH 5). Carillion Qatar LLC-Qatar Building Company JV will be handling the Phase 1B
(consists of 16 Buildings, Residential, Hotel, Retail, Commercial and a Mosque).
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and controlling the cost of the Project (Value & Cost monitoring-forecast
report).
* Leading for the section of External Works (Hard & Soft Landscape Works) and 6
buildings consists of Restaurant, Retail, Residential, Office, Serviced Apartments,
Service Hotel Apartments, 5 Star Luxury Hotel and Mosque.
* Handling twelve (12) nos. Sub-Contractors of the project and two (2) nos. Nominated
Sub-Contractors (Civil, Architectural & Fit-Out works).
* Instructing the Sub-Contractors (addition or omission to its Sub-Contract). Studying the
said works if claimable to the Client or possible for contra charge (making sure that the
costs are recoverable).
* Liaising with the Sub-Contractors (especially their payment certificate, contra charges
and notice of delays).
* Evaluating the monthly payment application of the handled Sub-Contractors (monthly
payment certificate).
* Providing quantity, drawings and budget (if possible) to the procurement department for
their procurement process.
* Doing the Sub-Contract Agreement for the awarded Sub-Contractor of the procurement
department.
* Submitting change notice or variation, as addition to the Contract of the Contractor
(including quantification, costing and workshop to the Client QS representative).
* Doing the external valuation (progress to the Client) for the external works and
provisional items.
* Evaluating all the possible contra charges of scaffolding works used by various Sub-
Contractors.
* Writing letters/correspondence both for Sub-Contractors and Client (if area of
responsibility).
* Doing the monthly forecast report of all the handled Sub-Contractor (cost and value).
Making sure that it is still in the allocated budget amount.
* One of the In-charge for final account agreement (close out) for all the Sub-Contractor.

General Construction Works - A Superstructure works package of a Twenty Seven (27)
storey office building located at Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig City, Philippines.
General Construction Works - Superstructure Works Package a 45-storey
Residential Tower and situated of 6-level Podium area, consisting of 28-level
Residential Levels, 11 Penthouse, 1 Amenity Level, 2 Retail Level, 3 Parking Level, Helipad
on top of the Mechanical and Roof deck Level.
• ONE SHANGRI-LA PLACE PROJECT (SUB & SUPERSTRUCTURE WORKS)
General Construction Works -Sub &Superstructure Works Package for a 2Tower,
65 storey High Rise Residential Tower with 10-level Common Basement Parking,
Grand Lobbies, Retail Mall at Shangri-La Place Ortigas Manila, Philippines.
The Project “TRESTON International College” is located at Block 19 Lot 5-C
University Parkway District, 32nd Street corner C-5 Road, Fort Bonifacio, Global City,
Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines and it is a mid-rise institutional building. This Project
consists of three (3) buildings with seven (7) floors with roof deck and with one (1)
common basement.
• ONE ROCKWELL PROJECT-EAST TOWER(SUPERSTRUCTURE WORKS)
The project is a 2 Tower with 45 & 55 Storey high rise residential East and
West Tower with 4 Levels of common basement parking, grand lobbies at the third floor,
suspended drop off, amenities on the third level, retail areas office on ground level. The
project is owned by the Rockwell Land Corporation.

A 154, 000 sq. meter Medical complex comprising of about 600 beds world-class
tertiary hospital. Consisting of (2) integrated medium rise towers with an energy center plus
a common four (4) level basement. Hospital building with (5) five level podiums and (8)
eight nursing units. Medical Arts building (12) twelve storey structure and (10) ten levels
medical clinics and offices.
