• Reporting to : Deputy CEO - Engineering & Tendering Division
Scope of Work:
1) Attending Meetings, Technical Discussions & Financial Negotiations with Clients/Suppliers/Sub-
Contractors.
2) Act as the company’s internal contact point and company’s representative to the clients during
inquiry and bidding process for all projects.
3) Project coordinator for all projects during bidding stage, internal coordination between Civil,
Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering &Tendering Divisions.
4) Study & Review Tenders / RFP’s/ RFQ’s Documents, Specifications & Drawings.
5) Coordination with Design Engineers to assure meeting project and specifications requirements.
6) Coordination with Cost Estimators / Quantity Surveyors / Planning Engineers / Fabrication
Workshop Manager / QA & QC Engineers / Heavy Lifting Team for all related technical points
and scope of work.
7) Review & Manage the customers’ inquiry process.
8) Submit a detailed response to the inquiries and provide answers/responses to any subsequent
requests for Clarifications / Deviations.
9) Floating inquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers / Sub-Contractors.
10) Comparison Studies based on Suppliers Quotations.
11) Negotiations with suppliers on both Technical and Commercial aspects of products/services.
12) Preparation of Estimates, Compiling of all BOQ’s, Technical Writeup, Compliance Statements and
Finalizing the Proposal Contents assuring meeting the requirements.
13) Technical Docs & Budget Preparation & Handing Over to Execution Dept. upon award of project.
14) In-charge for Company Registration & Pre-Qualifications to USACE, KOC, KNPC, Ministries,
Governmental Authorities and International Clients.
15) Follow up on Company Pre-Qualification & Approvals from All Clients.
16) Maintaining an effective Filing System in order to have access to the related documents such as
Contracts, Agreements, Quotations, Cost Estimates, Correspondences, Calculations, Budget, etc...
17) Conducting visits on regular basis to Assembly Yard & Site for following up running projects status.
18) Follow-up with the clients regarding the recent quotes submitted and keeping records of the status.
19) Performs any other similar duties assigned by the Asst. General Manager.

• Estimation Engineer - Steel Works at "Behbehani Steel”, SHBC - Mechanical Division - Kuwait.
• Reporting to : Senior Estimation Engineer - Mechanical Division
Scope of Work:
1) Estimation Duties:
• Study & Review Tender Documents & Drawings.
• Take-Off (Structural Steel Works) from Structural & Architectural drawings.
• Preparation of BOQ for Structural Steel Works & Substations.
• Preparation of Estimates for Design, Fabrication & Erection Works, all to be checked by the Senior Estimator & Management for Comments and Review.
• Raising Inquiries to Sub‐Contractors, Material Suppliers. Co‐ordinate with Detailing and Design team, if required.
• Good team work to complete Estimation & Costing as per schedules.
• Assist with obtaining scopes of work pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Checking regularly the procedures in order to ensure reliable Quantity Surveying are in place
• Maintain files of working documents for back-up to estimating figures.
• Maintaining awareness of the different running Projects & Contracts.
2) Invoicing Duties:
• Receiving all signed delivery notes and filing them to be used later in time of invoicing.
• Checking all delivery notes for any comments from the client (Missing, Damage …).
• Invoicing all delivered materials as per Contract and Purchase Order.
• Revising all delivered materials shop drawings to be sure that invoiced quantity matches with delivery note quantity.
• Preparing all required documents to be attached with the submitted invoice.
• Collecting check lists needed for invoicing Erection Works from Sites.
• Updating invoice logs for all the Running Projects & Jobs on daily basis.
• Tracking the submitted invoices with Clients & Accounts and solving any issues regarding payments.
• Preparing weekly reports for submitted invoices status.
• Preparing weekly reports for Received & Pending RFQ’s.
• Preparing weekly reports for Quotations submitted & Quotations Status.
3) Performs any other similar duties assigned by the Sr. Estimation Engineer.
