Prepare directives, guidelines and information on various components of quality management and patient safety for dissemination throughout the home healthcare facility.
•Direct the collection, measurement and presentation of data required for monitoring quality and patient safety indicator.
•Develop and manage the education and technical expertise in quality improvement and patient’s safety of the home healthcare staff.
•Develop and maintain quality outcomes management information system.
•Participate in orientation and ongoing education and training of home healthcare staff
•Work collaborately with the Infection Control and Health and safety committee on recognizing, eliminating and controlling health hazard risk in the workplace.

•Participate in providing education and trainings to all hospital nurses with regards to Defibrillation, Cardioversion and Code Blue Drill.
•Member of Emergency Response Team. Attend and assist all types of emergencies such as cardiac emergencies, RTA with multiple injuries, trauma and burn in the hospital.
•Responsible for performing quality nursing care by assessing, analyzing and obtaining information to develop appropriate plan of care.
Responsible for maintaining care standards in the emergency room.
•Collects current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
•Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
•Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.
•Records patients’ current vital signs
•Works directly under physicians, assisting them during exams, diagnostic testing and treatments
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
•Provides IV therapy
•Cleans and bandages wounds
•Maintains proper supplies and appropriate medical equipment to care for patients.
•Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by physician. Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury, by explaining: post-treatment home care needs, diet/nutrition/exercise programs, self-administration of medication and rehabilitation, as well as provides referrals to other healthcare professionals for follow-up treatment.
