I worked in the hospital in the Philippines as a Staff nurse in General-Private Rooms at Cordillera Hospital of the Divine Grace, Philippines. I am a license holder in the Philippines and a USRN (United States Registered Nurse.).
Responsibilities:
• Prepares patient for and assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist physicians when examining patients and carries out doctor’s legal orders.
• Identifies the nursing needs of the patients.
• Plans, gives and evaluate nursing care.
• Administer and charts medications and patients’ reaction to medications.
• NGT and PEG tube feeding.
• Performs irrigations, catheterizations and give enemas when so ordered.
• Chemotherapy administration
• IV Insertion
• Assists patients while maintaining proper alignment.
• Critical and Intensive Care
• Observe medical asepsis.
• Discharge patients when so ordered by attending physician.
