Capable of reading electrical drawings with a good understanding of electrical control systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, alter/modify pneumatic control system, variable speed drive motors, Switchgear, UPS, meters, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control system to reduce breakdown and achieve targeted production. Connection and checking of proximity switches, as per schematic diagrams.
Perform failure analysis to develop plan for modification and improvement in accordance with industrial standard.
Plan, execute and complete all shutdown tasks within the agreed schedule.
Repair and maintenance of the plant equipment with minimum downtime.
Plan, develop, improvement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance program for critical equipment.
Monitors electrical maintenance jobs during shutdowns/break downs to ensure quality and accuracy. Checks the calibration of protective relays and other regular tests performed on electrical equipment during shutdown.
Knowledge of different types of sensor, such as pressure and level control.
Checking and testing of electrical motors of all types.
Working with 3 phase and generators.
Experience in PLC system and fault finding.
Maintenance and erection commissioning activities which include Installation, calibration, troubleshooting, service and commissioning of field instruments.
Perform wiring termination of Electrical / Instrument cable.
Installation of Cable Tray, Support, and Tubing (Hydraulic and Pneumatic).
Troubleshoot Compressor and HT motors vibration, temperature elements.
Tests accuracy of flow meter, pressure gauge, temperature indicators, controllers, indicating or controlling instrument, such as pressure gauge, mercury manometers, potentiometers, pulse and signal generators, resistance box.
Respond emergency call-outs on night, weekend and holidays.
