• Oversee all banquet and catering services
• Ensure that all events/meetings are correctly set each day
• Manage floor plans for weekly events and prepare event/banquet staff accordingly
• Contact clients, update and confirm details to finalize banquet event orders (BEO)
• Assist personally the VIP customers with all their event journey at Leylaty Group
• Resolve customer complaints regarding food or service
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to Leylaty standards
• Develop the operating guidelines such as budgets, forecasts, purchase specifications
• Implement effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs
• Maintain overall profitability through efficient and effective management strategies
• Meet with sales representatives in order to negotiate prices and order supplies through approved vendors
• In coordination with HR, recruit and hire staff, for restaurants and banquet department
• Coordinate/personally conduct training for all Front of the House staff.
• Maintain employee files and records in accordance with HR directive
• Report all significant personnel problems to HR, including staffing needs and counseling/disciplinary issues
• Work with managers/supervisors to adjust schedules throughout the week to meet business demands and maximize productivity levels
• Attend weekly department head meetings; work with General Manager on morning staff meeting agenda; provides information for the House and Grounds Committee agenda and attend bi-monthly meetings
• Assist in all the company development projects and manage personally all the seasonal operations ( Example: AL MIRKAZ in Holy Ramadan Month)
