• MSP / RPO negotiations (Project Manager) - Project to review, renegotiate and standardise the process for a number of outsource agreements with one supplier

• HR Transformation project - Part of the project team managing the restructure of HR (300 heads) including group consultation. • Virgin Media Volume Resourcing - Managed the set up and running of the Volume Recruitment model for recruiting over 100 staff a month. Reduction of cost per hire by 50% by increasing Direct Sourcing, and reducing agency utilisation to 9% against a target of 20%.
• Managed the Experian Direct Sourcing team through a recovery programme taking them from 34% success against SLA to 103% within a 3 month period.
• Managed the 6 month exit from Serco including an Aged Debt reduction programme to eliminate outstanding payments (£2m) from the client and to suppliers whilst ensuring SLA’s were maintained.

Regional Sourcing Manager at RBS

Later transitioned into the Group HR Team covering NatWest, RBS Retail and RBS Insurance brands including Direct Line and Churchill insurance.

Core responsibilities were Stakeholder management of Contact Centre Management Teams, HR Business Partners and Divisional Directors, own the direct sourcing strategy for the region, performance management of suppliers, and working with other teams within Group Resourcing to ensure fulfilment in line with targets.

• Successful fulfilment of around 1000 vacancies per year in line with Time to Hire of 12 weeks from receipt of requirement to on-boarding.
• Reduced cost per hire from £2000 per hire to under £750 per hire through increased Direct Sourcing.
• Reduced agency utilisation from over 50% to under 30%.
• Developed resource forecast plans for Centres in London and the South to cover contingency recruitment and planned growth annually.
• Designed and managed a recruitment strategy by location and role type to attract a pipeline of candidates for each centre.
• Worked with advertising agencies to develop appropriate collateral and enhance the Employer Brand
• Set up and managed Assessment days and Careers fairs to promote RBS as an Employer of Choice

The remit of the role was to manage the end to end recruitment process for circa 200 permanent hires over a 12 month period ranging from manual workers to Group Board members, review the end to end recruitment process and identify area’s for improvement, manage the Apprenticeship and Graduate recruitment programmes and enhance the Employer Brand by identifying and attending relevant Careers events.

• Completed a Supplier Performance audit and renegotiated supplier terms reducing agency costs by over 30%.
