sea-front site in Abu Dhabi

Martyn was seconded on a consultancy contract with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)
Projects Directorate in the Building Projects Department. The ADNOC Group Building Projects Department
managed all aspects of the design and construction of the various building projects required by any of the
Group's subsidiary companies in Abu Dhabi from inception through to completion. His key duties included
liaison with all members of the project teams, such as Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers,
Services Engineers, System Engineers, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineers, Interior Designers,
Landscape specialists and Contractors.
He also conducted Specific Pre-Award duties included the issue of tender documentation for various
projects for a two-stage tendering process, analysis of technical and commercial bids together with the formulation of contract documentation for contract award.
He was assigned as Senior Contract Engineer for the post-contract stage of the ADMA-OPCO Headquarters
building, a prestigious US $108 Million 23-storey, building on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi.
