Perform responsible supervisory duties within department, including direct and indirect leadership of medical staff.
Respond to emergency call and assume command as TRIAGE officer, delegating/direct medical staff in a mass casualty incident in coordination with the incident commander.
To act at all time in a professional manner and shall be able to handle conflict situation with good judgement.
Plan, schedule and conduct medical training to all firefighters or other agency (if requested) in coordination with the training department.
Maintain a high level of competency within the staff thru various Paramedic training.
Assumes the responsibility for any other task or duties as maybe designated by the Chief Officer or other highier ranking officer.
Establishes and maintains files, reports of various EMS records, including ordering or requisition of necessary medical supplies/equipment needed or required.
Maintain personal knowledge and skills in order to deliver optimum patient care in providing efficient and immediate care to critically and injured, determines the nature and extend of illness or injury. If there is more than one casualty established a Triage set up. Renders emergency on opening and maintaining airway, giving positive pressure ventilation, cardiac resuscitation and advance cardiac care, control bleeding, treating shock, immobilizing fracture, bandaging, assisting childbirth, managing mentally ill or disturbed patients, providing initial care for poison, managing burn patient and to transport to a medical facility/hospital for further treatment and management.
