Implement Smart Plant Electrical across the company. Produce QUALITY deliverable Electrical layouts. Assist and mentor to less experienced Saudi Engineers and designers. Support the Lead Designer.

Employ cost competitive engineering techniques to develop the most cost-effective total project solution for execution of the discipline engineering work. Understand project design basis and contractual requirement. Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement and requisition. Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Knowledgeable in design of lighting, power, cable tray, earthing/grounding layout, hazardous area classification drawings, electrical building drawings, electrical heat trace, electrical drawing indexes, aboveground & underground system, distribution board schedule, conduit & cable schedule, cable trench, cable routing, single line, schematic & connection diagram. Support lead designer in preparing estimates for proposals and man hour requirements.

Perform operational/technical tasks and economic studies on assigned projects pertaining to existing and/or future power system development and expansion of distribution facilities of the Company. Assess the customers’ nature of application. Survey the area for inspection and validation. Responsible for enforcing the provisions of these guidelines in the processing of all types of requests for service applications or restorations.

Responsible for lighting calculation using LUXICON, 3D lighting layout using PDS modeling equipment, producing lighting layout on 2D physical drawings such as MICROSTATION and AUTOCAD, Voltage drop calculation and Conduit fittings, Bill of materials or Material take off using MATERIAL MANAGER. Involve in preparation of Electrical Panel board Schedule.
Responsible for producing deliverable drawings on grounding and lighting layout. Involve in preparing material take off and 2D deliverable drawings on cable trays

Prepare electrical design drawings for bidding and construction. Supervise electrical drawings for revision. Responsible for reviewing sample materials, catalogues and shop drawings submitted by the contractors/suppliers for approval. Responsible for auditing and inspecting voltage drop in branch circuits.
