General services departments “including but not limited to” (Endoscopy, general
surgery, cardiology& pulmonary, E.N.T, private clinics, orthopedic …)
Main duties in working as a front liner:
* Greet and register patients upon arrival to the designated department.
* Schedule appointments /procedures including answering phone calls.
* Handling payments done in the units (cash, credit ..)
* Providing insurance approvals and pre-approvals for applicable patients through
coordinating with the insurance companies (directly &electronically) .
* Assembling insurance bills after each insurance patient’s visit with coordination
with the billing department.
* Working directly with the doctors and helping with patients requests
(prescriptions, queries and needs …)
* Ensuring smooth workflow (reducing patient’s wait time, complaints, occurring
issues ..)
* Ability to solve onset problems efficiently and in a professional manner.
* Maintaining high level of quality services and patient satisfaction through the
hospital mission in caring safety &excellence. While multitasking and working
under pressure. Highly organized/oriented.
* Developing personal methods in approaching each patient.
* Training new staff members.
* Limiting the probability of patient’s physical accidents in the facility through fast
detecting and analyzing hazardous surroundings.

Development institute, in corporation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung German institute in
lebanon.
