Check and review the competency/performance of the quality Lead/engineers and quality inspectors within the QC team; participate in audits; produce quality reports regarding QC activities; contribute to the development of the BACS QMS and to be ‘client facing’ during the site inspections.
Assess opportunities for improvement and the effectiveness of any associated changes to the Quality Management System (QMS). And has authority to implement heightened control and prevent the issue of an item where there is a perceived risk that the deliverable or product may not meet the technical and quality requirements of the contract.
Supervised a multi discipline construction works, soil improvement, stones columns, buildings, landscaping, earth works, infrastructures, landscaping including civil and concrete structural works, pre-cast concrete, steel structures erection, lay down area, temporary facilities; monitored safety and quality control standards including engineering technical works; controlled project budget; coordinated with client and consultant on various technical issues; monitored site quality control plan, reviewed letters; interviewed new staff engineers.
