* Issued a detailed engineering report for a study that enabled running a 225 thousand barrels per day condensate distillation plant on an alternative crude oil feed, while desired products criteria are met. The detailed study evaluated process data and sized and optimized more than 30 shell-and-tube heat exchangers, 20 centrifugal pumps, several distillation columns and side strippers, and 10 air coolers using Pro/II simulation software.
* Developed an internal report that enabled the long storage of refined products without compromising its quality, with reference to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and industry's best practices.

* Supported the start up of a JV project of 400 thousand barrels per day refinery by the development of more than 20 service agreements that enabled providing technical assessments, software solution, long lead items, safety equipment and manpower to the JV project.
* Negotiated and revised existing refinery product agreements with the JV partner representatives to maximize Saudi Aramco shareholder's interests in the JV project.

* Developed product blending recipes and alternative scenarios of operation in the case of plant shutdown for a 550 thousand barrels per day refinery.
* Prepared short and medium range refinery operation plans.
* Communicated with various refinery plants on a regular basis to ensure the safe and smooth refinery operation.

* Issued a detailed engineering report that enabled increasing the feed of a 225 thousand barrels per day condensate distillation plant by 15%, using Pro/II simulation software. The detailed study evaluated, sized and optimized several plant equipment. The report described the optimum plant configuration to achieve a feed increase of 15%.

* Conducted engineering calculations, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) and risk assessments studies, heat and material balance, and monitored operational parameters for a condensate distillation plant, a hydrocracker plant and a visbreaker plant.
* Reviewed plant layouts, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) to ensure that diagrams accurately reflect existing plant equipment and operation parameters.
* Worked with plant operations and maintenance team to resolve operational problems and complete the pending Management of Change (MOC) workflows.

* Supported a JV project of 400 thousand barrels per day refinery by the development of various service agreements.
* Prepared monthly progress reports and information packages for Saudi Aramco shareholders.
