• Conduct and coordinate on-site safety compliance inspections including hazard analyses, safe work procedure and prepare written reports & recommendations.
• Perform construction site and area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
• Assess and report Contractor compliance with contract Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Enhance safety standards and general procedures including work permit, hazards identification, risk management and emergency preparedness.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly safety meetings; in addition, Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental & safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Participate in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents, Prepare notifications and reports.
• Perform root-cause analysis to prevent future human, physical, and logistic losses reoccurrence.
• Review and analyze injury, property damage, and statistical loss data and works with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.
• Assist management with monitoring adherence to department safety and environmental program by employees and contractors.
• Implement and conduct daily checks of Contractors Work Permits and compliance.
• Coordinate with company underwriting team to undertake clients risk assessment surveys.
• Coordinate with company clients to asses, evaluate, and quantify on-site risks.
• Investigate, analyze, and examine on-site risks as per site industry nature to amend insurance policy as per present risks.
• Ensure all clients on-site conditions, risks, hazard are within the tolerance of industry standards such as NFPA, and OSHA.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative on-site risk analysis as per the client industry nature in accordance with EHS standards as set per NFPA, and OSHA.
• Produce a list of risks and hazards observations as per the company client on-site conditions.
• Produce a list of risks and hazards recommendation to either terminate, transfer, tolerate or treat as per the client on-site conditions in adherence with the industry standards such as NFPA, and OSHA.
• Calculate the company clients possible and estimated maximum losses as per the client business nature to ensure the risk is within the company treaty capacity.
• Establish a systematic approach for risk analysis and evaluation categorized as per the company major client business nature group such as (petrochemical sector, manufacturing sector, and storing sectors).
• Produce corporate level risk assessment reports for underwriting team utilization.
• Perform fault tree analysis, root-cause investigation, and reliability calculation to prevent clients’ human, physical, and logistic losses.
• Coordinate with company client on business continuity plans and systems in the event of loss as per SAMA regulations and requirements.

• Review company client loss prevention assets and investigate the reliability of the assets.
• Supervise and monitor HSE procedures and management system implemented by client and contractor.
• Supervise and monitor daily HSE activities performed at sites in terms of client and contractor procedures.
• Facilitate regular Safety & Health inspection and assessments on-site in accordance with established Company Safety & Health programs.
• Facilitate the site in execution of client and contractor programs to comply with the site safety plan.
• Attend site safety meetings and monitor points raised to ensure remedial action is taken where required.
• Provides input to safety training presentations, provided by the safety department and assist with training delivery where required.
• Keep up to date with all relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
